Yorkdale Mall is one of the nicest shopping malls I’ve ever been to. I don’t shop there often because I break the bank when I do. There are so many high-end stores to choose from, most of which I steer clear of. It truly is a wonderful shopping experience (on the eyes – hard on the visa).
I hit up the mall a week or so ago and came home with WAY too much.
The Angels & the Husband were in desperate need of socks. Everyday the three of them would mention to me that their socks had holes in them again. So I bought socks. Not too exciting.
I hit up Sephora. Yikes. I shouldn’t have but I’ve been wanting to try out the St. Tropez self-tanner for over a year now. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the damn product. Can’t wait to review it for you. I also couldn’t help myself, I bought the Bumble & Bumble root lifter. I ran out of my Anastasia brow wiz (rather fast I might add). Anyone else notice this product doesn’t last very long? Anyhow, I picked up the brow powder duo instead. I’m thinking this might last longer. I’ll let you know.
I hit up Lululemon next. For those interested, the location of this store has been moved. It used to be near Old Navy. It’s now located in the higher-end wing with Tesla, Kate Spade, Apple, etc… stores. I did some serious damage in this store. The weekend prior the Husband wanted to check out Lululemon. I feel in love with the dancer pants and jacket. The Husband also wanted a new pair of workout pants. We walked out of the store without buying them. And I couldn’t stop thinking about them for the rest of that weekend. So I went back the following week and bought both of us what we wanted. Ouch and oh so sweet. We’re both very happy with these items. FYI – The jacket is reversible.
I love Bath & Body Works. Their foaming hand soaps are the best. Don’t you agree? I bought many of them to bring to the new digs. I not only love the smell of these soaps but I love that my Angels will actually wash their hands when I have it our bathrooms. It’s a win-win in my books. I also bought 2 of their giant candles. I like to light these everyday. They make the house smell AMAZING. I decided to try the air-freshner they now have. We will see how it works out. Something for the new place to take away the construction smell.
Finally I headed into the Body Shop. I’ve have not purchased anything from this store in forever. I bought a Vitamin C Microdermabrasion scrub and tea tree face mask. These work very well together. They leave my skin feeling super clean and revitalized. Side note – I use tea tree oil all the time to dry out acne. It works wonders. I also bought a fruity body spray. Just because.
What do you think? Tried any of these products before? Sound off below.
