At the start of every new school year I let my Angels pick out an outfit. My parents did the same thing for my brother and I growing up. We called it “our back to school outfit”.
This year I went a little overboard. Ok. A lot. The deals were amazing at Target and Walmart. It was as if the clothes were being given away. The Angels were going crazy at the stores. As was I. I’m talking $8 for stretch-skinny jeans, $4 leggings, and $10 tops. Awesome!
I don’t spend a lot of money on my clothing or the Angels. Sure, I can spend $40 on a pair of pants for the girls but they still come home with holes in the knees and stains all over them. I figure what’s the point. I might as well pay less. The same goes for shoes. These girls are growing machines. I’m buying new ones almost every quarter. Like hell am I going to pay a ton. The girls got theirs for $20 a piece.
I do let them pick out their own clothes. They are getting too picky and won’t wear something if they don’t like the cut, feel, colour or texture of a certain material. My Angels like comfortable clothing. Like mother, like daughter
Here’s a look at a few of the things we picked up. The Angels were grinning from ear to ear. It was money well spent.
